Dear Community Member/Business Owner,
Bloomingdale Police P.B.A. Local 354 is conducting its Annual Christmas Clothing and Toy Drive. Local 354 has come into contact with more than its share of residents who have found themselves in very difficult financial situations. As in years past, we are hoping to make this holiday season a little easier and brighter for these families.
Local 354 will purchase clothing and toys for the smallest of our neighbors in an effort to help ease the burden on parents and guardians who would not be able to afford the purchases during this year’s holiday season. Over the past 8 years, the members of Local 354 have provided for 29 families and over 65 children ranging in ages from a new born to 18 years old.
The members of Local 354 have again pledged a significant financial contribution to assist in this effort. We are also asking for assistance from our neighbors to help with this fund. Any assistance you can provide will help to bring joy and necessities to those who need it most.
Local 354 will compile a list of needs and wishes, and fill as many as possible. Local 354 will make sure that your generosity is known to those that are helped. We ask that financial contributions be made by December 17th to allow for the time to gather the gifts. Donations can be left at the Bloomingdale Police Department. Members of Bloomingdale Police Local 354 will be shopping for specific needs and wishes so we are requesting financial support to purchase specific items requested by the parents/guardians.
